Hello, I am Ahkim S, a male home carer with a passion for providing compassionate and dedicated care to those in need. With extensive experience in caring for individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound conditions, Parkinson's Disease, as well as managing anxiety and depression, I am well-equipped to support individuals facing various health challenges. My care types include Live-in, Hourly, and Overnight care, ensuring that I can meet the diverse needs of my clients.
I take pride in my ability to assist with a range of activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship to those I care for. With a background in healthcare and a deep understanding of the importance of empathy and patience, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients. Additionally, being able to drive allows me to offer transportation support to appointments and outings, despite not owning a car.
Outside of my caregiving role, I enjoy hobbies such as walking, dancing, playing card games, solving puzzles, and engaging in board games. I am also a lover of pets, with preferences for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. My caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude have been key attributes that have enabled me to build strong relationships with those under my care. Ultimately, my motivation for caring stems from my desire to help people lead independent and fulfilling lives, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
